Heathen Apostles ‘Country Gothic’ European Tour 2020
The Heathen Apostles are proud to announce the first wave of bookings for their 2020 European tour, which will take place in September. It will be their third tour of Europe, and this time around the band will be bringing their country gothic music to Germany, Belgium, France, Switzerland and more TBA. They will be promoting their gothic blues release Born By Lightning (out now on Ratchet Blade Records), as well as two surprise vinyl releases that will be announced at a later date.

Heathen Apostles in a Night of Gothic Outlaw Country
The Heathen Apostles will be playing Friday March 8th with Jason Charles Miller and Hannah Aldridge for a great night of gothic outlaw country at the world famous Whisky-a-Go-Go in West Hollywood, Ca. You can get advance tickets HERE.
Jason Charles Miller is an American singer-songwriter known for his solo albums as well as being the lead vocalist and guitarist of the industrial rock band Godhead. Hannah Aldridge is an Americana/ Folk artist originally from Muscle Shoals, Al. She is the daughter of the #1 hit songwriter and Alabama Music Hall of Fame inductee, Walt Aldridge.
Cowboy Goth Art Show at Black Sheep Art Gallery
The Heathen Apostles will be appearing at the Black Sheep Gallery in Burbank, Ca. on Sunday January 19th. It is a special event and cowboy goth art installation called ‘Frontier Justice’, and is described by the gallery as: “Frontier Justice – when the law was newly forming and the people in the west took matters into their own hands. This show will touch on The history of the spread of democracy, criminal behavior, the pilgrimage of settlers voyaging into the desert, and the effects this time had on native people and the country itself. We hope to enlighten you with the harsh winds of the west and the cold nights of the desert.”
The Black Sheep Gallery is an immersive and artistic space featuring dark art and macabre delights in Burbank California. The cowboy goth Frontier Justice event begins at 7pm, and the Heathen Apostles will be playing two sets. For more info click HERE.
Wovenhand, Heathen Apostles Show at The Echo

The music of Wovenhand and songwriter/multi-instrumentalist David Eugene Edwards has always had an unparalleled intensity. Edwards’ rich, billowing and emotive voice is always the driving force of his ethereal music, but it’s catapulted by his spellbinding ability to transform instruments that many people might consider mundane relics — be it banjo, accordion, lesser-known folk instruments from around the world, or even an electric guitar — into devices of dark fury and poignant beauty.
From the apocalyptic revivification of antique Americana of Sixteen Horsepower in the 90s to the threadbare balladry of Wovenhand’s early releases, Edwards’ music has maintained its celestial heaviness as it evolved. But now in its current incarnation, Wovenhand is a band that fully expands that power with exacting and inventive skill. It’s a sound so distinctive and compellingly crushing that even the heaviest of metal bands can’t match.
Wovenhand’s current lineup includes guitarist Chuck French, bassist Neil Keener (both of Planes Mistaken For Stars) and drummer Ordy Garrison, now joined by piano/synth player Matthew Smith (Crime & The City Solution). Star Treatment was recorded at Steve Albini’s legendary Electrical Audio in Chicago with engineer Sanford Parker, who also helmed Wovenhand’s 2014 album Refractory Obdurate.

Heathen Apostles Play Amigo the Devil After-Party Nov. 1st
The Heathen Apostles will be playing a Dia de los Muertos show at The Love Song Bar in DTLA on Fri. Nov. 1st for the Amigo the Devil after-party for his show with King Dude & Twin Temple that is happening at The Regent Theater in downtown Los Angeles (which is next door to The Love Song Bar).
This show will also be the release party for the Heathen Apostles’ new Born By Lightning EP, which will be released on Halloween on Ratchet Blade Records. For more info click HERE.

Tickets On Sale For Heathen Apostles Paris Show at Black Star
The tickets have gone online for the Heathen Apostles Paris show at Black Star on Tuesday June 18th. The show is one of a week’s worth of appearances in France for the Heathens, starting at La Bazka in Tranqueville-Graux, France on June 17th and ending in Nevers at the Fete de la musique on June 21st. Heathen Apostles Confirmed For Sjockfest 2019
The Heathen Apostles have been confirmed for Sjockfest 2019 in Gierle, Belgium. Sjockfest is Belgium’s ‘Lollapalooza’ and the Heathens are excited to appear on Friday July 12th at 22:05 (10 pm) as main support to the Goddamn Gallows on the Titty Twister stage. This is the last weekend of shows, tonight the band is at Blau in Mannheim, Germany, tomorrow they are in Basil, Switzerland, and then they are capping off the tour by headlining a custom car show in Helmond, The Netherlands. Heathen Apostles 2018 European Tour Dates Finalized
The Heathen Apostles 2018 European tour dates have been finalized, check to poster to see if they will be appearing near you. The band will be playing every day starting on August 3rd to August 19th, with stops in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland. The Heathen Apostles Record Release show for Bloodgrass Vol. I & II at Bar Sinister was a great success, the place was packed and everyone had a blast. Thanks to Pat Muzingo of Speedbuggy and Junkyard for sitting in on drums. The next show is this Friday, July 20th as the Heathen Apostles are at Maui Sugar Mill Saloon, the band will be on at 11pm. The Heathen Apostles Wacken Open Air Festival appearance can finally be announced, the band will be featured on Saturday August 4th at 14:15 (2:15pm) on the Beer Garden Stage. Wacken is a German hard rock festival that also leans toward country, bluegrass and the Old West. The Heathen Apostles will be appearing Saturday February 10th at the 2nd Hand Revival in Eagle Rock, Ca. It is an annual two-day gathering of artists, poets, craftsmen, tinkerers, makers and peddlers of vintage goods. It is free, and there is plenty of food and booze to be had.
