A brand new feature of the Heathen Apostles is in the latest issue of Symbols Magazine, in it Mather Louth and Chopper Franklin discuss their unique sound, the meaning of Gothic Roots music and why they decided to release an album of remixes. You can read all about it HERE.
The new Heathen Apostles remix album Requiem For A Remix will be in stores worldwide on August 5th. It is on Ratchet Blade Records and is distributed by Nail Distribution and will feature different cover art than the “DJ Only” version available now online (you can preview and order that version HERE). New photos were take for the release by Holly West, one of them is posted below.
The Heathen Apostles appeared as a trio at the Merle Haggard Tribute May 15th at Viva Cantina in Burbank, Ca. The show was a smash, with over 20 artists performing. The Heathens played I’m Gonna Break Every Heart I Can and Misery & Gin, below are some photos of the event by John Nikolai.
