Heathen Apostles’ Paint the Stars Video Coming May 21st
The release date for the Heathen Apostles’ new music video Paint the Stars has been announced. The Jorge Jaramillo directed video will debut on Monday May 21st, it is the first video from the upcoming Bloodgrass Vol. II EP, out Friday May 25th on Ratchet Blade Records. Heathen Apostles Paint the Stars Music Video is a Wrap
The Heathen Apostles Paint the Stars music video has wrapped, it is the first video from the upcoming Bloodgrass Vol. II EP, out May 25th on Ratchet Blade Records. The video was directed by Colombian Filmmaker Jorge Jaramillo, and will debut shortly before the release of the BGVII EP. Bloodgrass Vol. II Cover Art and Release Date
The Heathen Apostles are proud to release the cover art to the upcoming Bloodgrass Vol. II EP, the follow up to 2017’s Bloodgrass Vol. I. It will be released on May 25th on Ratchet Blade Records, and again the artwork will feature drawings by the multi-talented Stephanie Inagaki. Stephanie did the Appariton II drawing of Mather that graced the Vol. I cover, you can see more of her awesome work at her Miyu Decay website HERE. Jorge Jaramillo to Direct “Paint the Stars” Video
The Heathen Apostles are collaborating with Colombian filmmaker Jorge Jaramillo on the music video for the upcoming single “Paint the Stars”. Jorge has long been on the cutting edge of film production and stereoscopic animation, and is a good friend of the band. You can see some of his work HERE.

Heathen Apostles Bloodgrass Vol. II Recording Under Way
Recording has begun on the Heathen Apostles Bloodgrass Vol. II, the follow up EP to Bloodgrass Vol. I, which was released in December of 2017 on Ratchet Blade Records. The five song EP will contain the Heathen Apostles’ unique blend of American roots music (bluegrass, country and blues) and dark, gothic tendencies. The band’s Chopper Franklin will again be producing the album, and filming of the music video for the lead single Deadly Nightshade (the song appearing in the video snippet below) will begin shortly. The Heathen Apostles ‘Summertime’ audio video has debuted , it’s the first song from their upcoming Bloodgrass Vol. I EP, out Friday December 15th on Ratchet Blade Records. The Gershwin classic was produced by Chopper Franklin, and the band has begun shooting the first music video for the EP. Check back for more news and links.

The Heathen Apostles would like to thank the amazing Benedikt Brydern for filling in on violin at the recent Viper Room show, and thanks to all that made it out, the band had a blast. “Wild Witch of the West” Video to Feature Mather
The new Phantom of the Black Hills music video for Wild Witch of the West features the Heathen Apostles’ Mather Louth, who also sang on the song. The video debuts Friday August 11th and the album Scalped releases on August 25th on Ratchet Blade Records. Check back for links and more details.

The Heathen Apostles’ Mather Louth is singing on the new Phantom of the Black Hills album Scalped, out soon on Ratchet Blade Records. She sings on Wild Witch of the West, the first single from the record and will also appear in the music video. Chopper Franklin is producing, check back for more details, including the release date.

The Passing of “Misery & Gin” Video Star Luz
Luz, who was one of the actors in the Heathen Apostles’ Misery & Gin music video, passed away on November 18th. Here are comments from Mather and Chopper:
Mather: Completely in shock…rest in peace, talented and gentle soul. I will never forget how much you said you loved our version of Misery and Gin, and how it made you cry….I am crying for you now. Thank you for giving us your artistry- this video will seek to offer you a small sense of immortality.
Chopper: Just lost a good friend, Luz starred in the last Heathen Apostles video and nailed two parts like they were nothing. Good bye my man…
Video Shoot For “Albatross” Single
The video shoot for the promo video for the upcoming Heathen Apostles single Albatross is under way, it is being shot in sea caves up the California coast and also features underwater video shot in Hollywood, Ca. The Albatross single will be out on Friday December 9th on Ratchet Blade Records.
Mather Louth Underwater Photo Session
Mather did an underwater photo session with the world renown and award winning photographer Cheryl Walsh. MUA by Alta DeKoven, with skirt and ribcage by Mather Louth Couture and cherub crown by the exquisite Fiori Couture. Promo Video Shoot For “Misery and Gin”
The Heathen Apostles shot the footage for an upcoming promo video short for their upcoming EP Misery and Gin. It was shot in 110 degree heat in Palmdale, Ca. by Lawrence Drayton and will be released shortly. The band will be shooting the full length music video beginning June 27th and the Misery and Gin EP will be released on July 22nd on Ratchet Blade Records. Check back for more details.

The new Heathen Apostles remix album Requiem For A Remix will be in stores worldwide on August 5th. It is on Ratchet Blade Records and is distributed by Nail Distribution and will feature different cover art than the “DJ Only” version available now online (you can preview and order that version HERE). “Requiem For A Remix” Release Weekend A Wrap
The release weekend for the new Heathen Apostles remix album Requiem For A Remix went insanely well as was hoped. Thursday saw the release of the Requiem promo video (watch it HERE), Friday evening included an appearance on 88.9 KXLU’s Stella Stray Pop show followed by a visit to DJ Meikee Magnetic at The Happy Haus night. The weekend capped off with the Heathens playing Bar Sinister in Hollywood, thanks to all that tuned in, rocked out and have been supporting the Heathen Apostles throughout the years.
