The Heathen Apostles will kick off their first show of 2017 on Saturday February 18th at the Maui Sugar Mill Saloon in Tarzana, Ca. It will be a special acoustic show during which the band will play rare cover songs as well as their unique take on Gothic Americana. Click HERE for more info.
Acoustic Show This Saturday Night in Van Nuys, Ca.
This Saturday Oct. 22nd, an early acoustic Heathen Apostles show at The 94th Aero Squadron in Van Nuys, it starts at 8pm, the band will be playing songs we usually don’t do live.

Heathen Apostles Duo Shows Labor Day Weekend
The Heathen Apostles Duo (Mather Louth and Chopper Franklin) will be playing two shows this weekend, Friday night September 2nd they will be appearing at Lucky Fools Pub in Moorpark, Ca. and Saturday September 3rd at Sort This Out Cellars in Solvang, Ca. Special Appearance at the Legendary Clifton’s
The Heathen Apostles will be making a special appearance on Thursday August 18th at the legendary (and recently remodeled) Clifton’s in Downtown Los Angeles. The admission is free, and there are 3 sets starting at 9pm. They will be performing their takes on classic tunes as well as acoustic versions of their own unique songs. Heathen Apostles’ “Misery and Gin” Teaser Video
The promo teaser shot with Lawrence Drayton for the upcoming Misery and Gin EP , The Heathen Apostles tribute to the late, great Merle Haggard, is now live. The EP is out July 22nd on Ratchet Blade Records, the full length music video will be out that week, and the release show is on July 21st at the Viper Room, click HERE for tickets.
Heathen Apostles’ “Misery and Gin” EP out July 22nd
The Heathen Apostles will be releasing their Merle Haggard tribute EP Misery and Gin on July 22nd on Ratchet Blade Records. It will feature the two songs they performed in May at the Merle Haggard tribute concert Misery and Gin and I’m Gonna Break Every Heart I Can. The EP will also feature a remix of I’m Gonna Break Every Heart I Can by Almighty Watching. A release show has been scheduled for July 21st at The Viper Room in West Hollywood, Ca. Also appearing will be Charlie Overby and Paul Cauthen. Check back for more details.

Heathen Apostles To Play Merle Haggard Tribute
The Heathen Apostles have been invited to play tribute to Merle Haggard on Sunday May 15th at Viva Cantina in Burbank Ca. They will perform “I’m Gonna Break Every Heart I Can” and “Misery & Gin”, be sure and come down and witness this historic event, there will be approximately 20 other acts. February Acoustic Shows A Wrap
The Heathen Apostles’ special February acoustic appearances wrapped this past Saturday with a full band set at The Echo in Echo Park, Ca. The band will be back in their full acoustic/electric glory at Bar Sinister (at Boardner’s) in Hollywood on Saturday April 9th. The Heathen Apostles have 2 special acoustic shows in February, the first at Cafe NELA in Cypress Park, Ca. on the 13th (as a trio) and at The Echo in Echo Park, Ca. on the 20th (as a quartet), be sure and try and make it down, they will be playing songs they may not play live again.
Halloween Shows A Wrap, West Coast Duo Tour!
The band wants to thanks all that came out to their 2 Halloween night shows, now Mather and Chopper will be heading up and down the US West Coast for a series of duo shows to promote the new Fire to the Fuse album. They will be playing acoustically and showcasing alot of the roots elements that go into the Heathen Apostles sound, Mather will be playing guitar while Chopper plays guitar, banjo and mandolin. Early Halloween Show at King’s Inn (at The Escondite)
The Heathen Apostles Trio (Mather, Chopper and Thomas) will be making a special guest appearance at the King’s Inn at The Escondite in downtown Los Angeles, also with Denver Broncos UK (members of Slim Cessna’s Auto Club) and Spindrift. Hippy Killer Hoedown A Wrap, SBC Live Next
The 7th Annual Hippy Killer Hoedown went great, the Heathen Apostles enjoyed their second straight appearance at the festival, many thanks to Kutty and his crew for their excellent work. The next show is this Saturday April 18th at South Bay Custom Choppers in El Segundo, Ca. It will be the last live show for a while, as the band will be shooting the music video for their upcoming single Fool’s Gold, as well as beginning the recording of their second album. Hope to see you all at SBC Choppers this Saturday!
