“Requiem For A Remix” CD In Stores Today

Today is the day for the brick and mortar release of the Heathen Apostles’ remix album Requiem For A Remix, featuring remixes by Chopper Franklin, Almighty Watching and the Phantom of the Black Hills. The band is in pre-production for a music video for their cover of Echo and the Bunnymen’s The Killing Moon, which is included as a bonus track on the album. Heathen Apostles “Misery and Gin” EP Cover Released

The cover art for the upcoming Heathen Apostles Merle Haggard Tribute EP Misery and Gin has been released, it features Mather Louth and Chopper Franklin in a photo by Lawrence Drayton. The Misery and Gin EP will be out July 22nd, 2016 on Ratchet Blade Records, and the music video for Misery and Gin will debut that week as well. Heathen Apostles’ “Misery and Gin” EP out July 22nd

The Heathen Apostles will be releasing their Merle Haggard tribute EP Misery and Gin on July 22nd on Ratchet Blade Records. It will feature the two songs they performed in May at the Merle Haggard tribute concert Misery and Gin and I’m Gonna Break Every Heart I Can. The EP will also feature a remix of I’m Gonna Break Every Heart I Can by Almighty Watching. A release show has been scheduled for July 21st at The Viper Room in West Hollywood, Ca. “Requiem For A Remix” In Stores 8/5/16

The new Heathen Apostles remix album Requiem For A Remix will be in stores worldwide on August 5th. It is on Ratchet Blade Records and is distributed by Nail Distribution and will feature different cover art than the “DJ Only” version available now online (you can preview and order that version HERE). “Murderer of Souls (Chopper Franklin remix)” Video Debuts Today

The new Heathen Apostles Murderer of Souls (Chopper Franklin remix) music video has dropped, it was directed by the band and shot by Harmony Gerber at Devil’s Doghouse Studios. As you can probably tell it was great fun for the band to shoot, it is the first video from the new Requiem For A Remix album (Ratchet Blade Records), you can sample it HERE. “Drowned In Trouble” Promo Video Live

Ratchet Blade Records has released a promo short of the song Drowned in Trouble from the 2015 Heathen Apostles album Fire To The Fuse. “Requiem For A Remix” Release Weekend A Wrap

The release weekend for the new Heathen Apostles remix album Requiem For A Remix went insanely well as was hoped. Thursday saw the release of the Requiem promo video (watch it HERE), Friday evening included an appearance on 88.9 KXLU’s Stella Stray Pop show followed by a visit to DJ Meikee Magnetic at The Happy Haus night. The weekend capped off with the Heathens playing Bar Sinister in Hollywood, thanks to all that tuned in, rocked out and have been supporting the Heathen Apostles throughout the years. Fire To The Fuse was produced by Chopper Franklin and will be out Halloween day on Ratchet Blade Records. “Evil Spirits” EP Streaming Now

Songs from the upcoming Evil Spirits EP, out August 25th on Ratchet Blade Records, are streaming in full from now until the day of  the release. Mather Louth (Radio Noir), Chopper Franklin (The Cramps) and Luis Mascaro team with the 69 Eyes vocalist Jyrki 69 for 4 dark roots tunes that combine gothic imagery and acoustic roots music featuring violin, banjo and mandolin.

“Evil Spirits” EP Cover Art Revealed

The Heathen Apostles have teamed up with the Helsinki vampire himself of 69 Eyes and 69 Cats fame, Jyrki 69 to release a special 4-track EP Evil Spirits on Ratchet Blade Records. The EP features two duets with lead Heathen vocalist Mather Louth, as well as two other killer tracks with Jyrki and Mather each taking the lead vocals. The EP will be available on August 28th, and those of you that will be at the 69 Cats shows in Finland can snag an early copy! Cover tintype by the amazing Allan Barnes.
